Tom Hiddleston as King Distar

Tom Hiddleston as King Distar

After watching his mesmerizing role as Loki in Marvel's Thor, I had no other choices in who I would want to play the powerful and malevolent King Distar. Now albeit that if my book was to make it to the big screen, Tom's face would be hidden behind make up and special efx. I feel however that Mr. Hiddleston could give one hell of a performance and bring Distar to life in a creepy and horrific way that could possibly put Distar in with the likes of Darth Vader.

Andy Serkis as Ushmu

Andy Serkis as Ushmu

Oh the great Andy Serkis! Gollum himself! Now Ushmu is far from the eccentric and crazy Gollum but Andy's great portrayal of the all CG character gives me hope that if I could have him play Ushmu, then he could bring the same charisma and evil charm to then two faced villian.

Aishwarya Rai as Lilith

Aishwarya Rai as Lilith

I believe it is time for the Bollywood actress to get her fame here in America as the evil Lilith. Aishwarya Rai would be the epitome of beauty and seductive temptress that Lilith personifies and give the evil mistress the look of a true goddess.

Dakota Fanning as Nila

Dakota Fanning as Nila

What better angelic star to play the Anjil named Nila than Dakota Fanning. Her brilliant performances in so many movies have shot this young starlet to top. Dakota would be an awesome fit in those ethereal wings and give her more of a fan following with the sci-fi crowd.

Leona Lewis as Vulpina

Leona Lewis as Vulpina

Continuing with my fantasy picks for my make believe movie based on my book, I would choose Leona Lewis to play Vulpina. Now I have no idea how her acting skills are but her exotic look is exactly what I envision the Annunaki to look like. I imagine her and Jason Momoa would have great on screen chemistry making them a believable love interest.

Jason Momoa as Jorrim

Jason Momoa as Jorrim

This was a no brainer for me. Jason Momoa as the cocky and headstrong Annunaki commando, Jorrim. He's got the big guns(arms) and has that warrior look I have in mind for Jorrim. It doesn't hurt that he is in one of my favorite television shows, Game of Thrones, and the new Conan movie.

Chord Overstreet as Adam Dolby

Chord Overstreet as Adam Dolby

Possibly the most controversial pick for Adam is Chord Overstreet from the hit tv show Glee. Why Chord you think to yourself? Well he reminds me of a young Brad Pitt and that is the look I have in mind for Adam. Someone that is in shape, has the jock look, but deep down is a big geek. Chord's good looks would not hurt none for bringing in the female crowds for which sci-fi movies have some trouble doing.

Denzel Washington as Mentor

Denzel Washington as Mentor

Probably one of the most distinguished actors that I have never seen actually do a true sci-fi movie. Sure Book of Eli was sort of in that genre but still in the realm of fantasy. I would be so honored to have him play the somewhat eccentric and mysterious Mentor. Denzel could bring a whole new dimension to my character and flesh out his personality in so many ways. I could see him teaching a young Adam in the ways of becoming an Eternal and fighting the Annunaki. Mentor's role in the universe will become more important and this would be great having Denzel lend his talent in the trilogy.

Actors/Actresses

Hello Planet X fans! I wanted to post something fun and different so I got to thinking about other websites that try and guess which actors/actresses would be the best to star in a movie based on a comic or sci-fi novel. Well I came up with my own list of performers I would love to see play the characters in my book. Over the next few days I will post one character with a picture of the actor and why I would want them to play that character. So far these will be the main characters I will focus on for now but will post more later.

Mentor
Adam
Jorrim
Vulpina
Nila
Distar
Lilith
Ushmu

Rapture

Well the world did not end. This is great since I want the chance to finish my story about Adam and the Eternals. I have been so busy at work, and very ill, and my hopes for finishing my prequel story about Coldor Vam is coming very slowly. As soon as it is closer to completion I will post that information here. Thank you all for following my blog!

End of the World

Well apparently the end of the world is this Saturday, May 21st, 2011. Looks like my book is all wrong and so were the Mayans. Actually, we're all wrong! Why is it that the one profession that should teach about living life and loving life, is always talking about the end of times? I'm one that loves some chaos, some, not too much, but why is everyone trying reach the end?

I love a good "story" about man's struggle to overcome life and death but these religious fanatics need to stop their "it's the end of the world" ranting. One last thing, sounds like it would make for an interesting book.

Planet X Prequel

Good day to all! First off it is a wonderful day now that the evil demon Bin Laden is dead! Praise goes to those brave Navy SEALs and the great work they did to keep us all safe.

Now to the next thing on my list. I have been working on a prequel of sorts for Planet X The Annunaki Wars. It follows Coldor Vam and Vulpina during one of their first missions together. I'm trying to show what will motivate Coldor into becoming the cold hearted man we meet in the first book. The most exciting part is that it will not be published as a book but a FREE story to be read from the official site.

More info on the release date to come soon, so keep checking back here for more updates.
